EFFICACY OF COMPUTER GLASSES

This study was conducted on 26 computer users at The Ohio State University, College of Optometry, Columbus 43218-2342, USA in order to understand the effectiveness of computer glasses.

Conclusion: 24 out of 26 subjects positively found that computer glasses are effective enough to combat the vision related symptoms.

Randomized controlled trial (RCT) on amber lenses

To reduce the bias and get most precise results, a randomized trial was conducted at University of Toledo (USA). The aim of the study was to understand the blue light blocking capacity of amber lenses.

Conclusion: It was found that amber lenses block the blue light and at the end of trial the control group experienced significant improvement in sleep quality & overall mood.
